While it was raining this afternoon, I took a wooden rocking chair out of my house and placed it on my front porch. The gentle patter of the rain on the roof really got me into this intense reading mood, so I took Return of the King with me, and boy did those sparks fly. I haven’t had a reading experience like that in years.
P.S. Sorry guys, but Gandalf would totally win in a duel against Dumbledore. He’ll kill you. Just saying.
We really should. Fred would probably cry his eyes out to know that his beloved red ascot just wasn’t “in” anymore. We wouldn’t want to hurt our childhood hero now would we?
Dear Eloise- The Hollies
I really have no idea what the fuck is happening in the background, but I like it.
We’ve all got a dream, right? Well one of my dreams is to write a musical. I mean, I also want to be a writer and all, but a musical? That would be pimpin. Who else can say, “Oh yeah, I wrote that one musical. Hit Broadway in ‘09. You’ve probably heard of it.”
I want this.
So I was up writing late last night, and I called up my cousin and had him read my stuff. After a shit sandwich and many other random conversations, my phone died and I was left alone with a document in horrible need of editing and some awful Tyler Perry program.
I was quick to turn the tele off. I am not one for cheap humor. Ok sometimes
The thing is, I was on my couch, and my bedroom was just sooooo far away. So I pretty much just flicked off the world and slept on my couch. But let’s be honest here. I might as well get used to it. I’ll probably be there a lot after I’m married…
So I woke up really early with sweaty couch cushions and back pain. Not my idea of beauty rest, I can assure you.
So here I am. Bask in my glory. And my bad hair day.
I only go on after little gaps of time. So if you’ve religiously waited for posts that never came, I apologize. I just sometimes forget I even have a Tumblr. I promise to make up for my failures on days like today. Have fun watching me sweat and pant to keep up with your whims!
